Herp so good
Several gators appeared on Brooks Mall April 25, but they weren’t headed to a sporting event. Along with bearded dragons, frogs, turtles, salamanders, snakes and a tortoise, they were part of “A Day on the Lawn,” an annual outreach event that gives the public a chance to interact with live animals and discuss conservation issues with volunteers from the Herpetological Society at UGA’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources.
